If you are keeping billing in-house, this is the other half of what we do.

Most of this site argues for handing the claims file to somebody else. Plenty of practices have looked at that and decided no — usually for good reasons. This page is for them. We license, set up, train on and support the practice management and EHR software, and we do not need you to outsource anything to be useful.

No cart, no checkout, no prices with a button next to them. Software fits a practice or it doesn’t, and that is a conversation.

Medical practices

MedOffice®

Complete medical practice management: scheduling, patient records, insurance and patient billing, claims, and reporting. If you are not ready to outsource billing, this is the system your staff would run it on — and we train and support them on all of it rather than handing over a licence and a PDF.

  • Scheduling and patient demographics
  • Insurance and patient billing, electronic claims
  • Payment posting including ERA
  • Statements, payment plans and online bill pay
  • The same reporting library used on our billing service
  • Integrates with EHR Manager
MedOfficeLicensed & supported

Setup, data migration, staff training and ongoing support are quoted together with the licence. The licence on its own is the cheap part and the part that matters least.

Dental practices

DentOffice®

Complete dental practice management. Download it on-premises to your own computer network, or host it on our cloud — both are supported and the choice is usually about your IT situation rather than the software.

  • Robust reporting
  • Secure messaging

Clinical records

EHR Manager®

Cloud-based, HIPAA compliant, ONC certified. It runs on Microsoft Azure, which is the relevant detail for a practice that would otherwise be running clinical records on a server in a cupboard.

Features

  • Patient portal
  • Interactive online scheduling
  • Batch eligibility verification
  • Customisable charting
  • Complete electronic medical records
  • E-prescribe
  • Electronic lab procedures
  • Clinical rules
  • Multi-user support
  • Integration with MedOffice billing
  • Powerful reporting

Security

Four nested layers rather than one:

  1. Cloud network — Microsoft Azure
  2. Operating system — hardened Linux
  3. Application — user groups and security privileges
  4. Transport — SSL across the whole communication pipeline

Data ownership — read this part

You have complete ownership of your patients’ records. Using the backup option in the administrative dashboard you can download a full copy of your EHR database to your own hard drive, as many times as you like, at no charge, in addition to the automated remote backup.

We put this in writing because the opposite arrangement is common and expensive to discover late. Ask any software vendor what leaving costs before you ask what joining costs.

Pricing, and the thing about bundling

Software is licensed on a monthly basis with a one-time setup fee. Two things move that number: bundling it with a billing agreement, and term length — a multi-year commitment can waive setup entirely. We quote it properly rather than publishing a rate card that would be wrong for most practices.

We also source CMS-1500, UB-04 and ADA claim forms and envelopes for our clients. There is no shop on this site; ask on the call and we will sort it.

Buying software, not services?Still worth a call

A practice that licenses MedOffice this year is a completely plausible billing client in eighteen months, and we would rather be useful now than pitch you something you have already decided against.

If you want the software and nothing else, that is a fine outcome and we will not spend the call arguing with it.
